This learning module will guide you through the basic concepts and setup required to understand and utilize the key features of the NHN Cloud Console. NHN Cloud Console is an integrated management tool that allows you to efficiently manage and configure various cloud resources. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to create, monitor, and change settings for services, and it also provides real-time resource status and cost management. The console's project dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of the cloud services and resources you're using, while detailed configuration and management options are easily accessible through intuitive menus.

Final configuration diagram

The regions, organizations, projects, and availability zones will be used the same in later learning modules, so they will be omitted from the final diagrams in later learning modules.

Before you begin

Before you begin this learning module, here's what you need to know

  • Standard Internet browser
    • You must have the latest version of a browser installed, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
    • JavaScript and cookies must be enabled in your browser settings.
  • Internet connection environment
    • A stable internet connection is required, with a recommended bandwidth of at least 5 Mbps.
    • You must be able to communicate securely over HTTPS.
  • Member account

    • You must have an NHN Cloud account with a registered payment method.
    • You must be logged in to the NHN Cloud homepage.

    This guide starts with the steps after 1. Create accout and login.

Preparing to use the NHN Cloud Console

Step 1. Access the NHN Cloud Console

  1. Log in to the NHN Cloud homepage(https://www.nhncloud.com).
  2. In the top menu, click CONSOLE.
  3. In a new browser window or tab, view the NHN Cloud Console page.

Step 2. Create an organization

  1. Create an organization located at the top of the NHN Cloud console. Click the + next to it.
  2. In the Create organization window, enter the information below, then click OK.
    • Organization name: MyORG
  3. In the notification window, click OK.
  4. View the dashboard and console screens for the organization you created.

Tips

  • If you already have an organization created
    • If you already have an organization created, you can click + Create organizationat the bottom of the organization list to proceed with the actions below.

Step 3. Create a project

  1. On the Organizations tablocated at the top of the NHN Cloud console, click MyORG. If you have a single organization, it is automatically selected.
  2. Click + next to Create new project on the right side of the Selected organization tab.
  3. In the Create project window, enter the information below and click OK.
    • Project name: MyPRJ
  4. In the notification window, click OK.
  5. View the dashboard and console screens of the project you created.

Step 4. Select a region

  1. Move your mouse cursor to the Korea (Pangyo) region located at the top right of the NHN Cloud console.
  2. In the list of regions, click Korea (Pyeongchon) region.
